In order to assist students and teachers before the commencement of CBSE 12th practical exams for private students, the board has issued detailed guidelines as to how the practical exams for Class 12 private students will be administered.

CBSE 12th Practical Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to commence the Class 12 CBSE practical exams for private students from today, March 10. The exams will continue until March 29. In order to assist students and teachers before the commencement of CBSE 12th practical exams for private students, the board has issued detailed guidelines as to how the practical exams for Class 12 private students will be administered.

  • According to the CBSE practical exam guidelines issued, Students of 2021 and 2022 whose marks of practical subjects are not available due to repeat in practical (RP) or repeat in theory and practical both (RB) or absence will have to appear for the 2023 practical exams.
  • Also, students of 2020 and before, who have applied for full subjects in private category in their respective practical subjects will have to take the practical exams starting today.
  • The Board further added that there will be no project assessment or internal assessment for the subjects not having practical components.
  • The marks of the project assessment or theory assessment will be computed pro-rata, on the basis of marks obtained in theory exam in the 2023 board exams.
  • The CBSE Class 12 practical exams for the private students will be held in the exam centres fixed for the theory exams.
  • Students taking the practical exams will have to carry a copy of their previous result or mark sheets and admit cards for the 2023 CBSE board exams.
  • No student will be allowed to appear for the practical exams without these documents.
