Cheating During UP Board Exams 2023: Check Penalty for cheating in UPMSP 10th 12th board exams

What happens if a student gets caught cheating in UP Board Exams 2023?

UP Board Exams 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is scheduled to begin the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2023 today, February 16. UPMSP has set up  8,753 conduct the UP board exams centres across 75 districts. All the exam centres are under strict vigilance to prevent cheating. In order to conduct the board exams cheating free, the Board has taken certain strict measures.

All the UPMSP exam centres are under CCTV surveillance with voice recorders, DVR router devices and high-speed internet connections. The cameras are installed in about 1.43 lakh examination rooms of all examination centers and about 3 lakh in the campus for the smooth conduct of UP board class 10, 12 exams. Online control and monitoring center has been established at the state level. STF and LIU have been deployed to monitor all sensitive and highly sensitive examination centres.

For the first time, UP Board has decided to provide stitched answer sheets to the students to write UP Board Exams 2023.  The QR code and logo of the board have been printed on the answer sheets printed in four colours. However, the examination of 20 marks multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be conducted on OMR sheet.

UPMSP 10th, 12th exam 2023: Actions against students caught cheating in UP Board Exams 2023

Students must note that UP board has also deployed 1,390 sector magistrates, 455 zonal magistrates, 521 mobile teams for vigilance. Following action will be taken against students if caught cheating during UP Board Exams:

  • NSA action against the student caught cheating during UP Board Exams 2023 as well as FIRs against the center administrators will be registered.
  • If a student is found guilty under unfair means and misconduct (UFM) in or in relation to the any, he/she will be debarred from appearing in any further exams.
  • Items like mobile phones with GPS, communication devices, electronic items or barred items are strictly prohibited to carry at the examination centre.

Approximately,  58,85,745 students will appear for the UPMSP 10th, 12th exams 2023. The examination will be held in two shifts- from 8 am to 11:15 am and 2 pm to 5:30 pm.

The UPMSP class 10th, 12th exams will be held between February 16 and March 4, for a total of 14 working days.

Students have already received UP board 10th, 12th admit cards from their respective schools. All students must carry the UP board admit card 2023 along with their school ID card at the examination centre. Candidates are required to report at the examination centre 30 minutes in advance to avoid last minute rush. No student will be allowed to appear for exam without admit card.
