Chhattisgarh NMMSS Application Out: Chhattisgarh school education and literacy department has commenced the application process for National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMSS) for Class 8 students. order to be eligible to register for the NMMS examination 2023, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% in Class 7. These candidates can register for NMMSS exam 2023 at scert.cg.gov.in.
The scholarship is awarded to the meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) studying in Class 8 in the state. Candidates must mote that Chhattisgarh NMMS exam 2023 will be conducted in 146 exam centres across the state. Candidates are not required to submit application fee. The last date to submit Chhatisgarh NMMS application 2023 is September 8.
The Chhattisgarh NMMS exam 2023 will be divided into two papers, paper 1 will be held from 10 AM to 11.30 AM and paper 2 from 1 PM to 2.30 PM.
What is the Eligibility criteria to avail NMMS Exam 2023?
- Candidate must be a students of a government, government aided school.
- Candidate must have secured 55% in Class 7. Students belonging to SC, ST get relaxation of five percent.
- The annual gross income of the student's father or guardian should not exceed INR 3.5 lakh.
- Students studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government school, residential school are not eligible to apply.
NMMS Scholarship 2023 Benefits
Students selected under the NMMS scholarship scheme will get INR 1,000 per month from Class 9 to 12. These students will get the benefit of any one scholarship under the scholarship scheme provided by the government.

- Income certificate issued by the government not older than March 31, 2022.
- Class 7 mark sheet.
- Caste Certificate for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
