Talking about the helpline number in an official statement, the CBSE stated that the Board has used multiple mediums like social media, internet, memes, guidelines to create public awareness regarding COVID-19 among students and teachers. To prevent the virus spread, the Board also changed the seating arrangements in the examination hall.
As a precautionary measure, CBSE postponed the remaining class 10 and class 12 Board Examinations that were earlier scheduled between March 19 and 31. The Board also suspended the evaluation work to safeguard its staff members.
The CBSE Tele counselling service against coronavirus outbreak will be generated by trained counsellors. The counsellors will talk to the students and parents and will make them aware of preventive interventions, reducing transmission, and first-aid to control the virus spread.
