CISCE in the guidelines has clarified that it is mandatory for the students to appear for both the term examinations to be considered eligible to qualify for CISCE board exams 2022.

ICSE Term-1 Exam 2021: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is all set to commence ICSE Class 10th annual exams semester 1 from November 29. In this academic year, the Board will be conducting CISCE Board Exams 2022 in two terms with approximately 50 per cent of the syllabus being covered in each semester. CISCE in the guidelines has clarified that it is mandatory for the students to appear for both the term examinations to be considered eligible to qualify for CISCE board exams 2022. According to the decided format, the ICSE term 1 exam will be held for objective-type questions and the question paper will be MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format.

CISCE 2022 ICSE Term-1 Exam: Important Guidelines

Students appearing for ICSE Term-1 exam 2021 are advised to go through important guidelines laid down by the Board thoroughly.

  • Students are required to appear for both the semester exams on the same subjects to be considered qualified
  • Students can collect their ICSE Admit cards 2022 for the Semester 1 exams from the Heads of their respective schools
  • If an examination paper for which the candidate has not entered is handed to him/her, he/she must immediately bring this to the attention of the Supervising Examiner
  • Candidates must answer only that number of questions as mentioned in the Question Paper- cum - Answer Booklet
  • Candidates are advised to must put their signatures in the space provided on the top – sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet
  • Candidates must clearly write their Unique ID (Unique Identification Number) and Index Number on the top-sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet in the space provided
  • Using Black/Blue ink pen only is mandatory to make all the entries on the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet
  • Using simple electronic calculators during the examination will be allowed
