Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has issued the admission prospectus for its various schools for the academic session 2025-26. Those interested can visit the official Controller of Examinations website: jmicoe.in to download the JMI school prospectus pdf. The online JMI application forms for Jamia Senior Secondary School, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (including the Primary Section) (Self-Financed), Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (Self-Financed), and Mushir Fatma Nursery School will be available from February 1, 2025.

Last date for Submission of JMI Schools Application Form 2025-26

The deadline for submitting the online JMI school application along with the application fee of INR 500 is February 21, 2025. Prospective applicants can complete and submit the JMI admission form for these schools exclusively through the official JMI admissions portal at admission.jmi.ac.in. For detailed guidelines and additional information regarding the JMI admission process, candidates can visit the university’s official websites: jmi.ac.in and jmicoe.in.

Also, the application forms for the Balak Mata Centres of Jamia Millia Islamia will be available starting March 5, 2025. The deadline to submit the completed application form, along with a fee of INR 50, is April 15, 2025. Hard copies of the admission forms can be obtained from the Balak Mata Centres located at Matia Mahal, Qassabpura, and Beriwala. Applicants must submit their forms directly to the respective Centres.

Q:   How can I get admission in Jamia Millia Islamia?

Aspiring students are required to register on the official website of CUET fill the application form online. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Starting 2022, for BA, BSc and BVoc, JMI started accepting the scores of CUET UG. For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection. 

Q:   How can I take admission to JMI for MBA?

A:

Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for MBA can apply online on the official website. Admission to this course is offered based on the entrance exam conducted by the university, i.e. JMI Entrance Eest. Interested candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate in the subject concerned. Followed by application filling and before application submission, candidates are also required to pay the application fee which ranges from INR 550 to INR 700. A step-by-step process of application is mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website and scroll down.
  2. On the Admission section in the left corner of the page, there are multiple links for course-wise application forms.
  3. Click on the desired courses' application link, fill out the application form and pay the application fee.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
