The Maharashtra board exams 2023 for Class 10, 12 will be conducted in two shifts. While the first shift will begin at 11 am and will conclude at 2 pm, the second shift will start at 3 pm and will end at 6 pm. Along with this, students will get additional 10 minutes to read and understand the question paper or to complete their exam.
Maharashtra Copy-free Campaign
Meanwhile, in order to curd cheating and unfair means during Maharashtra Board Exams 2023, the Maharashtra government has launched a “copy-free exams" campaign. Under this campaign, the government has announced its decision to shut all the photocopy shops in 50-metre radius of the examination centres ahead of Maharashtra Class 10 and 12 board exams.
During a cabinet meeting this week, officials also presented plans to grade exam centers based on their 'sensitivity' and prohibit entry of unauthorized people within 50 meters of them. Police presence will also be increased around the examination centers. The education commissioner has been appointed as the campaign's nodal officer, while the district collectors have been assigned to coordinate the campaign.
