Many of these exceptionally talented students come from modest backgrounds, with parents working as peons, gardeners, or housemaids. Yet, they have excelled in their recent CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams, scoring impressively around 95%
Students at Amrapali English Senior Secondary School in Noida, a school tucked away in a small neighborhood next to Dadri, have eloquently illustrated how hard work and unshakable dedication can overcome any challenge. A large number of these incredibly gifted youngsters originate from low-income families where the parents are housemaids, gardeners, or peons. Nevertheless, they performed exceptionally well in the most recent CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, achieving a remarkable 95%, and they have a strong desire to enroll in prestigious Indian colleges. Here, we present the touching and motivational tales of these three exceptional students.
Devdhar Singh: Unwaveringly Determined to Reach the Stars
Currently enrolled in class 11, Devdhar Singh is a ray of hope and perseverance. Hailing from a close-knit family of five, Devdhar’s father works diligently as a peon at Delhi Public School in Indirapuram, while his mother is a devoted homemaker. Despite their financial constraints, his parents have always emphasized the priceless value of education.
"I chose science out of my own keen interest," Devdhar shares enthusiastically, "and I recently passed class 10 with an impressive 91%, including a stellar 98 in Social Studies and 95 in Science." He attributes his success to consistent study habits and completing his syllabus well ahead of time. "Scoring 90+ is not so hard when you truly aim for it," he says. His meticulously planned study routine involved early mornings and structured revision sessions, with a particular focus on completing his syllabus by November to avoid last-minute stress.
Devdhar's motivation comes from his supportive parents, dedicated teachers, and encouraging friends, who have all been his steadfast mentors. Looking ahead, he aims to crack the IIT entrance exam and pursue engineering, with IIT Delhi as his ambitious target. For future board exam takers, he advises, "Test yourself regularly and focus intently on NCERT books. Self-testing through sample papers and mock tests is crucial."
Siya Manral: Aiming for Humanities at Delhi University
Siya Manral has just completed her class 12th exams with a remarkable 94.2% in the humanities stream. Coming from a middle-class nuclear family, Siya has always received unwavering encouragement from her devoted parents and supportive teachers.
"My strategy was simple: focus on NCERT books, prepare my own comprehensive notes, and practice diligently with mock tests and previous years' question papers," she explains. Siya emphasizes the importance of a calm and positive mindset during exams. Her preparation routine involved late-night study sessions, with ample time given to her weaker subjects.
Siya’s immediate goal is to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University, preferably in the prestigious North Campus. She is also gearing up for competitive government exams, with a clear plan to secure admission through the CUET. Her advice for board aspirants includes sticking to NCERT books, managing time effectively, and practicing mindfulness to stay calm under pressure.
Sameer Kumar Chaudhary: The Aspiring Engineer with a Clear Vision
Sameer Kumar Chaudhary, another standout student, comes from a hard-working middle-class family in Bihar. Having chosen the challenging PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) stream, Sameer scored an impressive 423 out of 500 in his board exams.
"My approach was straightforward – consistent study and unwavering encouragement from my supportive family," says Sameer. His daily routine was rigorous, balancing intensive study sessions with breaks to keep his mind fresh. His future plans include cracking the JEE Advanced exam to secure a spot in an IIT, where he hopes to further his ambitious goal of becoming a successful engineer.
Celebrating Exceptional Success and Inspiring the Next Generation
The Managing Director of Amrapali English Senior Secondary School, Pramjeet Rana, expressed immense pride and joy in the outstanding achievements of his students. "Their exceptional results are a testament to their relentless hard work and the robust support system they have, both at home and in school," he said.
