UP Board Exam 2025: In a significant move to enhance the remuneration of educators involved in the UP Board exams 2025 Class 10, 12, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved a pay increase for principals, teachers, and support staff working at examination and evaluation centers. This decision, announced by Special Secretary Alok Kumar on October 29, aims to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those overseeing the crucial assessment processes.
UP Board Exam 2025: New Remuneration Rates
Effective from the 2025-26 academic year, the updated remuneration rates will benefit a wide range of personnel involved in the examination process:
- Centre Administrators: Pay will rise from INR 80 per shift and INR 160 per day to INR 100 per shift and INR 200 per day.
- Additional Centre Administrators: Their remuneration will increase from INR 53 per shift and INR 106 per day to INR 60 per shift and INR 120 per day.
- Room Inspectors: Daily pay will be enhanced from INR 96 to INR 100.
Increased Pay for Support Staff
Other support staff will also see their compensation rise:
- Clerks: From INR 33 to INR 40 per shift.
- Bundle Carriers: Their pay will increase from INR 16 to INR 20.
- Class IV Employees: Their remuneration will be raised from INR 26.50 to INR 30 per shift.
Enhancements for Evaluation Centre Staff
The increase extends to various roles within evaluation centers:
- Chief Controller: Now earning INR 75 per day, up from INR 67.
- Sub-Controller: Compensation increased from INR 53 to INR 60 per day.
- Co-Deputy Controller: Pay raised from INR 48 to INR 55 per day.
- Kothari: Increased from INR 44 to INR 50 per day.
Refreshment Allowance Boost
In addition to salary increases, the order also boosts refreshment expenses for exam staff, raising the allowance from INR 20 to INR 25. Furthermore, the remuneration for room controllers will now be INR 75 per day, up from INR 60.
