UP Board Exams Result 2020: Beware of fraud caller who asks money to pass students

Uttar Pradesh Education Board warned students and parents about the fraud calls that claim to pass students in board exams in exchange for money.

Uttar Pradesh Education Board warned students and parents about the fraud calls that claim to pass students in board exams in exchange for money. According to the reports, the caller claims to be an employee of the UP Board. To alert the students and parents, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) also released a notice in this regard on its official website i.e. https://upmsp.edu.in/. The board in its notice states that the person not only promises to pass the student in the exam but also provides a bank account number and its corresponding IFSC Code.

The board claimed that the call is creating confusion among parents and students regarding the UP Board 10^th results 2020 and UP Board 12^th results 2020. Assuring that none of their employees are involved in this scam, the board made this clear that the evaluation process of UP Board 10^th and UP Board 12^th is not completed yet due to lockdown imposed to control the deadly virus COVID-19.  

UPMSP requested parents and guardians not to fall in such traps. The board also urged them to immediately inform their district school inspector and police if they receive any such call along with the phone number and the bank account number. Meanwhile, the board is keeping a close eye on the reports and investing the matter with the concerned officers.

Earlier, the board released a notice alerting parents against a fake notice doing rounds which claimed that a decision of promoting all students of UP Board 10^th and 12^th without the evaluation of answer sheets is taken by the Board.
