BTech admissions: SRMJEEE 2022 to be held in 3 phases; apply now at srmist.edu.in

The SRMJEEE 2022 phase 1 exams will be conducted on January 8 and 9, 2022, whereas phase 2 and phase 3 exams will be held on April 23, 24 and June 25, 26, 2022, respectively. 

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct its engineering entrance exam (SRMJEEE) thrice in 2022. The phase 1 exams will be conducted on January 8 and 9, 2022, and the last date to apply is January 2.  

The SRMJEEE 2022 phase 2 exams will be held on April 23 and 24 and the phase 3 exams will be conducted on June 25 and 26. The deadline for phas 2 and 3 exams is April 18 and June 20, 2022, respectively. Interested candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2022 at srmist.edu.in. 

The online application is for admission to BTech courses offered at SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli) and Delhi-NCR campus -Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh.  

Eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2022 

• To become eligible for SRMJEEE 2022, candidates are required to score a minimum of 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics each as well as combined in their Class 12 board exams.  
• Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or should be appearing in it in the 2021-22 academic year with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational subject, computer science, information technology, informatics practices, agriculture, engineering graphics, or business studies. 
• Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa. 

As per the official website of the institute, application form fee is INR 1,200 and it is non-refundable. If the candidate wishes to take SRMJEEE more than once, then the applicant has to pay INR 600 for each phase. For instance, if an applicant prefers to take the entrance exam in all the three phases of SRMJEEE then he/she has to pay INR 1200+600+600.
