IIM Jammu Recruitment 2024: Applications invited for various Faculty Positions

IIM Jammu Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu is inviting applications for various faculty positions, including Professors, Professors of Practice, and Senior Consultants. This initiative aims to enhance the academic excellence of the institute in key areas such as Business Communication, Business Policy and Strategy, Business Law, Economics and Business Environment, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Accounting, IT Systems and Analytics, Marketing, Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management (OB/HRM), and Operations and Supply Chain Management. Interested candidates can submit their applications until October 31, 2024.

Faculty Positions: Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Professors

Candidates applying for the position of Professor must hold a PhD in the relevant field with a first-class or equivalent in their preceding degree. They should possess a strong academic record and a minimum of 10 years of post-PhD teaching, research, or industrial experience. Notably, at least 4 years of this experience should be at the level of Associate Professor in prestigious institutions such as IITs, IIMs, IISc Bangalore, or IISERs. The pay scale for this position ranges from INR 1,59,100 to INR 2,20,200.

Professors of Practice

For the role of Professor of Practice, candidates should have substantial relevant experience, ideally a minimum of 20 years, with at least 5 years in a senior-level position within industry or government. While a PhD is desirable, it is not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of practice and a willingness to teach Leadership Development Program (LDP) courses.

Senior Consultants

Senior Consultants are required to have either a postgraduate degree or a PhD from a reputed institution. These candidates will receive a salary of INR 1,50,000 per month. Senior Consultants will lead a ‘Centre of Excellence’ or a major activity at the institute, teach a minimum of two courses in undergraduate/graduate programs, conduct at least one Management Development Program (MDP), and organize an international conference each year on contemporary issues relevant to the institute.
