IIM Visakhapatnam launches Digital Governance Training Programme
Nineteen senior officers from eleven different states are participating in this programme, which focuses on equipping them with the skills and strategies needed to develop and execute effective e-governance projects. A new training programme on digital governance, organized in collaboration with the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), has officially begun at IIM Visakhapatnam. Inaugural Address Highlights Significance
During the inaugural address, V Srinivas, Director General of NCGG and Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, underscored the importance of this initial collaborative effort between NCGG and IIM Visakhapatnam. Srinivas presented on the “Centralised Public Grievance Redressal System: A Foundation for Smart Government,” emphasizing the transformative impact of technology on governance and citizen engagement.

Professor M Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, spoke about the potential of digital governance to enhance accountability, transparency, and responsiveness in public service delivery. He noted that digital governance has the power to simplify processes, making them more efficient and practical.
