IIM-Vizag rolls out new certificate programme in digital marketing

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam inaugurated the ‘post-graduate certificate programme in digital marketing and growth’. He congratulated the participants and explained the importance of digital and social media marketing. Srivastava also emphasised contemporary marketing techniques for exponential growth.

According to IIM Visakhapatnam director Professor M Chandrasekhar, the programme has been designed by experienced and learned faculty of IIM Visakhapatnam with the objective of enabling marketing professionals to understand strategies and tactics to optimise digital and social media platforms. “The programme aims to impart essential knowledge of several basic and advanced techniques to the participants by engaging them in hands-on exercise, simulations, case studies, projects, and scenarios in real business contexts,” said Professor Chandrasekhar.

Programme director Professor Amit Shankar welcomed the participants and shared insights about their experience with the attendees. He spoke about the program roadmap. “Marketing management, consumer behaviour, search marketing. Social media marketing, Google analytics, Google AdWords, and digital marketing analytics are the major components of the programme. The one-year postgraduate certificate program has also a component of campus immersion,” said Professor Amit.
