IIT Guwahati MBA Admissions 2023 begin; Apply by Feb 20

Candidates must note that the admission application window for MBA programme will be closing on February 20, 2023 by 5 PM. Candidates are advised to visit the official admission portal, i.e. iitg.ac.in/acad/admission/ to submit their MBA admission applications.

IIT Guwahati MBA Admissions 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, School of Business has commenced the admission application process for MBA programme. According to the information published on the official website, “Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to MBA programmes of IIT Guwahati for the session starting from July 2023. Applications are to be submitted online through Application Portal.”

IIT Guwahati fees for MBA programme is INR 2,77,150/-for GEN, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates and INR 52,150/- for SC, ST, PwD, MEB candidates.

IIT Guwahati MBA Admissions 2023 Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the MBA Programme, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

• A valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT).
• A Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or a minimum CPI or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CPI or CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) is permissible.
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree should be from the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
• Applicants in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply. If selected, their admission will be provisional and is subject to them fulfilling the required eligibility criteria by the stipulated time prescribed by the Institute.
