Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute Of Management 26th Convocation Ceremony; 227 degrees conferred
The college also recognized and honoured outstanding students for their academic excellence, community service, and leadership skills.
Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management hosted its 26th convocation. During the ceremony, the management institute conferred a total of 227 degrees to the students of the PGDM (General), PGDM (Financial Management), PGDM (R & BA), PGDM (Executive), PGDM (27 Months) and PGDM – LBSITM Indore. The college also recognized and honoured outstanding students for their academic excellence, community service, and leadership skills.
The winners of the gold medal were Aman Jindal and Ujjwal Bihani, from PGDM (General) 2021-23, Deepak Singh, PGDM Financial Management 2021-23, Gaurav Sharma- PGDM (Research and Business Analytics) 2021-23, Abhinav Malik (PGDM 27 Months) 2020-23, and Abhay Pratap Pal PGDM (Executive) 2021-22. The Lalita Shastri medals for best overall performance in PGDM were given to Simran, Anmol, Savyasachi, Shivani and Sarvmeet, while Shubhangi Gupta was awarded the Amit Chopra medal for social service and extracurricular activities.
The highlight of the convocation ceremony was the conferral of degrees to the graduates. The institute congratulates all the students and wishes them success in all their future endeavours. Faculty members and other guests also attended the occasion.
Interacting with the students, CP Gurnani, Managing Director and CEO of Tech Mahindra said, when you take the first few steps of your journey the first thought that should come to your mind should be gratitude. You have joined us to make a mark for yourself and the best way to judge whether you are making a mark is when your seniors listen to you when your peers respect you, and when your juniors work with you to deliver phenomenal results that are the day you are successful.
In his welcome address, Anil Shastri, Chairman of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, said, “In the global arena of management education, Indian B-schools are not resistant to the pressures of the times in order to address the needs of all the important stakeholders including students, faculties, society, industry, government, and the global community at large”. Indian business schools must renew management education to guarantee that it remains relevant over time.
