18,834 overseas students had registered for CBSE Class 12 board exams 2022. Out of the total, 18,774 students took the Class 12 examination and 17,644 students could clear it.
CBSE Results 2022: The Central of Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared board results for Class 10 and 12 on July 22, 2022. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 10th results 2022 stood at 94.40% and for CBSE 12th results 2022, the overall pass percentage stood at 92.7%. However, this year, the overseas schools affiliated with the Board could not repeat their past performance in the board examinations. The overseas schools have recorded the lowest results since 2019.
Elaborate arrangements were made by the Board to conduct examinations in India and 26 countries. As per the information provided by the Board, CBSE-affiliated schools are located in various countries such as Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nigeria, Qatar, Oman, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tanzania and Thailand.

99.92% students clear CBSE 12th board exams 2021
According to the detailed report shared by CBSE, 18,834 overseas students had registered for CBSE Class 12 board exams 2022. Out of the total, 18,774 students took the Class 12 examination and 17,644 students could clear it. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 12th results 2022 among overseas schools stood at 93.98 per cent.
However, in 2021, 99.92 per cent of students abroad had passed the Class 12 board examinations. At the same time, in 2020, 94.26 per cent of overseas students were successful in passing the Class 12 board examination. In 2019, the pass percentage was 95.43 per cent.
97.29% students pass CBSE 10th Board Exams 2022
Meanwhile, 97.29 per cent of overseas students passed CBSE 10th board examinations 2022. In 2021, the pass percentage stood at 99.92 per cent. In 2020, 98.67 per cent students had passed Class 10 while in 2019, 98.75 per cent of students succeeded in passing the Class 10 board examinations.
These schools, affiliated with CBSE, are for those places or countries, where the population of Indian citizens is high. The Indian Embassies in such countries have established the CBSE schools.
In countries where there are not many Indian citizens, India's diplomatic missions have established schools in countries such as Russia and Iran, which are mainly for the education of the children of diplomats.
According to CBSE, it has 28 government and private schools in different countries outside India. The reason for their establishment is to provide education to the children and dependents of the Indian community or Indian diplomats abroad at large.
