CBSE 12th Result 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for Class 12 exams 2022. According to the official press note, CBSE 12th results 2022 pass percentage stood at 92.71 per cent. The students who appeared for CBSE 12th exams 2022 can download the scorecard on the websites- cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in using roll number, school numbers.

To check CBSE 12th result, students are required to use roll numbers, school numbers and ADMIT CARD ID. CBSE 12th scorecards will appear on the screen only after entering the above-mentioned details. How to check CBSE 12th results using admit card ID?
- Go to the official website of CBSE
- Click on results tab
- Click on CBSE 12th results 2022 link
- A new webpage with input fields will open
- Enter details such as roll number, school number and admit card ID
- Verify and submit details
- CBSE 12th results 2022 will appear on the screen
CBSE 12th Results 2022 Pass Percentage Dipped
CBSE pass percentage 2022 witnessed a dip of 6% as compared to last year. In 2021, the Board recorded the pass percentage of 99%. A total of 13,30,662 students passed Class 12 exams this year. Trivandrum recorded the highest pass percentage, i.e. 98,83% followed by Bengaluru at 98.16%, Chennai at 97.79%, Delhi East at 96.29 %, Delhi West 96.29 %, Ajmer at 96.01%, Chandigarh at 95.98%, Panchkula at 94.08 % and so on.
Prayagraj recorded the lowest pass percentage among the regions, i.e. 83.71%.
Girls outshone boys by 3.29%
94.54% girls qualified CBSE 12th exams whereas 91.25% boys qualified CBSE exams for Class 12. The Board has also mentioned that 100% of transgender students qualified for CBSE 12th results 2022.
CBSE 12th Results 2022 Weightage
The board has prepared the CBSE final mark sheet on the basis of the weightage of marks in both term 1 and 2 exams 2022. The scorecard contains details of marks obtained during the academic year as internal assessment marks, project works, practical exams and pre-board exams. The board has given 30% weightage to term-1 and 70% weightage to term-2 for theory. For practical equal weightage is given to both terms.It is expected that same formula will be used for CBSE class 10 results.
CBSE term 2 exam was held between April 26 and June 4. CBSE conducted the exams in two terms for the academic session 2021-22. CBSE term 1 board exams held in November-December 2021, were conducted for multiple-choice questions, while the term 2 exams had analytical and case-based questions and was held in April- May 2022. The board did not announce the term 1 results as pass, fail or essential repeat.
