The initial reaction of students was great, the paper was easy and attemptable. Students and teachers found the paper good. Application-based questions were asked in the CBSE board 12th Sociology paper 2022 term 2.

There are 12 questions in this question paper with internal choice.

• Section A - Question number 1 to 3 are very short answer questions carrying 2 marks each.
• Section B - Question number 4 to 11 are short answer questions carrying 3 marks each
• Section C - Question number 12 is case-based question carrying 5 marks.
• All questions are compulsory.
• Use of log tables and calculators is not allowed

Lanthanoids - Electronic configuration, oxidation states and lanthanoid contraction and its consequences.
• Coordination Compounds: Coordination compounds - Introduction, ligands, coordination number, colour, magnetic properties and shapes, IUPAC nomenclature of mononuclear coordination compounds. Bonding, Werner's theory, VBT, and CFT.
• Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids: Aldehydes and Ketones: Nomenclature, nature of carbonyl group, methods of preparation, physical and chemical properties, mechanism of nucleophilic addition, reactivity of alpha hydrogen in aldehydes, uses.
• Carboxylic Acids: Nomenclature, acidic nature, methods of preparation, physical and chemical properties; uses.
• Amines: Amines: Nomenclature, classification, structure, methods of preparation, physical and chemical properties, uses, identification of primary, secondary and tertiary amines. 

At the end of Term II, a 15-mark Practical would be conducted under the supervision of Board appointed external examiners. This would contribute to the overall practical marks for the subject

A student has claimed that the examiners were not wearing masks. “No one was checking if we had hand sanitizers. Many students were not wearing masks and no one questioned them. The seating arrangement was normal. With COVID-19 cases on the rise, I don’t think any of us appearing for exams is safe.”

Since, the exam was descriptive in nature, there is a very less chance of CBSE releasing the answer keys. However, it is expected that various coaching institutes will release the CBSE Answer Key 2022.

CBSE had conducted the CBSE 10th English paper 2022 today, April 27. Students will now appear for the Mathematics exam on May 5, 2022. As per the CBSE Class 10 time table 2022, the Class 10 exams 2022 will end on May 24, 2022 with Information Technology exam.

The CBSE Class 10 English was based on the sample paper, as per students. Majority of the students were happy with the question paper. They have termed the exam as easy.

“Some answer books of Class 10 are having space for entering only 5 numeric digits on the title page of the answer books. This is only in case of schools situated in the jurisdiction of regional offices of Patna, Praygraj, Trivandrum, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and Chennai. The correct method has been explained by the board," reads the CBSE official notice.

The board has issued guidelines to fill centre code in Class 10 answer sheet. In an official notification, CBSE has said that this year the centre code allotted to all the centres will consist of 6 numeric digits instead of 5 numeric digit.

The examination centre should allow the student to take their exams in a separate room.

Students must follow the COVID-19 guidelines such as wearing masks, and avoid gathering near the exam centre.

CBSE Board exams will be conducted for a total of two hours, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm except for a few subjects
