CBSE Compartment Result 2022 Class 10, 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the CBSE 10th, 12th Compartment Result 2022 likely today, September 7. However, no official announcement on the same has been made yet. Students must regularly visit cbse.gov.in for such updates. The CBSE Class 10th, 12th Compartment Result 2022 will be released in the online mode at cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Students will be able to check the same by entering their roll number, school code and other details.

CBSE Compartment Result 2022 Class 10: Passing Marks
Passing criteria for CBSE Compartment examinations is the same as regular exams. Students of Class 10 have to score a minimum of 33% in the written examination conducted. It must be noted that 33% for Class 10 would include both theory and internal marks. Paper for practical or internal marks are not changed or revised. So, the 33% for Class 10 CBSE compartment result should be combined.
CBSE Compartment Result 2022 Class 12: Passing Marks
As for Class 12, the students would have to score a total of 33% in theory and another 33% in practical or internal to be given a pass in a subject. Hence, for the CBSE Class 12 compartment results, a minimum 33% score is required.
What if I fail the CBSE Compartment Result?
Students who fail compartment examination have an option of appearing for that subject again with the regular board examinations next year. The exams are scheduled to begin from February 15, 2023. Students need not appear for or repeat the year. However, in order to get the passing certificate, students would have to appear for the Board Exams and that paper again. However, for all those in compartment who fail to clear, they would then have to apply again next year as a private candidate. They would then be given a pass with a 2nd attempt. All those who pass in compartment would get a revised mark-sheet with no mention of the same.
