CUH has been approved 40 seats for admission under the M.P.Ed course from the upcoming academic session, 2021-22.


Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh will provide Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) course for the youth who want to build their future in the field of Physical Education & Sports.
The University has been approved 40 seats for admission under this course from the upcoming academic session, 2021-22.

The Department of Physical Education and Sports under the School of Education of the CUH has been granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi to run M.P.Ed course from the academic session 2021-22.

In view of the increasing opportunities in the field of sports, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar has described this course important for the availability of trained youth in this field. He said that it would certainly help in meeting the growing demand for trained youth in the field of sports.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University said that in the new course approved by NCTE, the work of teaching training related to this area will be done according to practical and scientific methodology. Prof. Ravinder Pal Ahlawat, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, said that for the approval of this course in the University, the inspection was done by NCTE in June 2021.

He said that the process of admission would be started soon in this course and students of Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Bachelor of Sports Science would be provided opportunities for higher education.
