Gauhati University Admission 2020 for Two-Year MEd Programme begins online

Candidates must note that the last date to submit applications is December 15, 2020.

GU Admissions 2020: Gauhati University commenced the online application for the two-year MEd programme on December 5. According to the official notification released by the University regarding GU Admissions 2020, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online on the official website, i.e. gauhati.ac.in. Candidates must note that the last date to submit applications is December 15, 2020. Admission to the programme will be given on the basis of entrance exam result. GU will conduct the entrance exam on December 20.

GU Admissions 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates showing interest Gauhati University PG Admissions 2020 must have a BEd or BT degree under GU or any other university recognized by the varsity with at least 55% aggregate as per the latest NCTE norms. Reserved category students will get a relaxation of 5%. Serving candidates must submit a study leave certificate or no objection certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.

The online application fee is Rs 600. GU in its official notification stated, “Candidates have the option of making the payment of fees/ Bank charges through the ONLINE MODE as no other mode of payments will be entertained. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking. RuPay Card is not accepted.”

“On successful completion of the Online Application Process, candidates are required to take a printout of the receipt and filled up the online application form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated online transactions may not be successful,” Gauhati University said.
