Lovely Professional University signs MoUs with six international universities

The collaboration with six international Universities aims to provide series of the international study program, that will provide the ultimate benefit to the students.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with six universities of America, Canada, Germany, Italy, Romania to provide international study opportunities to its students even amidst Covid-19.

While speaking about the collaboration, the associate director at LPU’s division of international affairs, Aman Mittal said, “We will strive to make the best out of these tie-ups for the ultimate benefit of the students. Working with the top universities across the world for providing truly global experience to them, LPU stands tall as a globally connected university”.

He further added, “It has developed a series of international study programs, which enable students to compete successfully in the world. Presently, an increasing number of LPU students are gaining success in their careers through international education offerings.”

A few days ago, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said, “Internationalization is a very important element in the growth and development of a university, and its contribution to the country. I see LPU as one of the leading universities which have embraced internationalization in letter and spirit. It has been doing so much work in the internationalization of education.” The six universities that have signed the MoUs are University of Idaho (UI), USA; Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Canada; South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDSMT), USA; IU University of Applied Sciences, Germany; University of Macerata (UNIMC), Italy; and University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Romania. 

Recently, LPU has secured an overwhelming rank among the ‘Top 200 universities in the World’ in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. According to the ranking list, LPU has achieved the position among Indian universities under the ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ category.
