Mumbai University Exams 2023: Mumbai University exams has been postponed for all semesters. The decision to postpone the Mumbai University Exams 2023 indefinitely has been taken as the non-teaching staff has called a state-wide strike.
Mumbai University Winter Session exams were schedule to be held from today; i.e. February 3. The exams are now postponed and the revised dates will be released in the due course of time. Students are advised to keep checking the official website of the varsity to get all latest update.
Mumbai University exams for ten courses, including LLB, MCom, MA, BVoc have now been cancelled. However, the LLB Semester 3 exam commenced on February 2, 2023. Meanwhile, MU has issued a circular. The university will be releasing the fresh updates regarding the exam dates or other changes (if applicable) soon.
"However, in accordance with the pending demands of non-teaching staff of non-agricultural universities and colleges, the Maharashtra State University and College Employees Joint Action Committee has started an agitation by boycotting the examination proceedings from 02/02/2023. Due to the said protest, difficulties have arisen in the functioning of the examinations, the examinations conducted by the university from 03/02/2023 are being suspended," stated MU's notification.
The non-teaching staff universities and colleges have started a protest and they have boycotted all the exams starting from February 2, 2023. As per the MU circular, the protest is being staged due to some pending demanded of the non-teaching staff.
