"The objective of the agreement is to provide guidance for the preparation of consolidated programmes in the sphere of Higher education at RGUKT. The secondary objective of the university is to evolve perspective plans for the Internationalisation of higher education in the state and promote the betterment of technical education in RGUKT," the University said.
The University of Hyderabad inks an agreement with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT). Registrar of the university, Devesh Nigam and RGUKT director P Satish Kumar signed the agreement in the presence of the Vice-chancellor of the University of Hyderabad, V Venkata Ramana.
A statement from the university said that "the objective of the agreement is to provide guidance for the preparation of consolidated programmes in the sphere of Higher education at RGUKT. The secondary objective of the university is to evolve perspective plans for the Internationalisation of higher education in the state and promote the betterment of technical education in RGUKT."
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor of RGUKT, Venkata Ramana said: "RGUKT is collaborating with leading institutions and we are happy to partner with one of the leading institutions and an institution of eminence, the University of Hyderabad".
Officials from the university said that "Chetan Shrivastava from the School of management studies of the University of Hyderabad will serve as the coordinator, while from RGUKT, Deva Raju will essay the role. Deans of both the universities and faculty members were present in large numbers during the signing ceremony."
