CUCET 2022 application process is expected to begin from March-April 2022 and the admit card will be issued and the CUCET 2022 Exam will be held in May 2022, reportedly. The merit list will be issued by July and the counselling session will begin in August.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), conducting body for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is likely to announce the scheduled for the exams by next week; i.e. the second week of March 2022. With CUCET 2022, the students will be able to take admission in the undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated programmes offered by 42 central Universities across the country.
The Universities that will be accepting CUCET scorecard include popular universities including Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Central Punjab University (CPU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Milia Islamia, amongst others. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) had recently announced that it will not admit students through the CUCET and will continue its own test like before.
Candidates interested to appear in CUCET, must note that the application process is expected to begin from March-April 2022 and the admit card will be issued and the CUCET 2022 Exam will be held in May 2022, reportedly. The NTA will conduct the exam in online mode for the duration of 2 hours. The maximum marks will be 100, in which 25 marks will be for aptitude and language tests, and 75 marks will be allotted to the respective domain knowledge. Students will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
It must be noted, that last year, the CUCET exam was conducted in the month of August-September. The exam was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
