Central Universities can register to hold CUET 2022 or CUCET 2022 exam for undergraduate admissions for academic year 2022-23.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process of central universities along with state, private, deemed and others for the upcoming Central University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022. All the interested central universities can now register by visiting the official website; i.e. nta.ac.in. Central Universities can register to hold CUET 2022 or CUCET 2022 exam for undergraduate admissions for academic year 2022-23.
It must be noted that the CUET 2022 application process for students will begin tomorrow; i.e. April 1. As per reports, NTA is also mulling holding CUET exam twice a year from the next academic year, the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar recently announced.
Several central universities such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have decided to admit students for academic year 2022-23 through CUET 2022. Earlier in the week, Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) also announced that it will conduct CUET 2022 for eight selected courses. The admission to other remaining courses will be conducted as per the earlier admission procedure.
Meanwhile, Eight deemed-to-be universities including the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and Jamia Hamdard have expressed a desire to use Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2022, Kumar said.
