CUET-PG 2022: JNU, PU, CUPB issues notifications for admissions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the CUET PG 2022.

Within a week of the Common University Entrance Test-Post Graduate (CUET-PG) 2022 announcement, major central universities have started issuing announcements regarding admission to PG courses through CUET-PG. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the CUET PG 2022.

Last week University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman announced that the NTA will be conducting an entrance test for admission to PG courses in central universities. Following this, various central universities have started issuing notifications for admission to PG courses through CUET.

Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, Pondicherry University, and the Central University of Punjab are among the universities which have already issued notifications in this regard.
As per JNU Admission Notification 2022, the university will admit students to postgraduate and advanced diplomas of proficiency programmes through the CUET 2022 from this year.

“Entrance Test (CUET) PG-2022 to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The eligibility criteria and other details related to PG & ADOP programmes (Academic Session 2022-23) are mentioned in the JNU E-Prospectus. The E-Prospectus is available on www.jnu.ac.in. Candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility and other details before applying online,” reads JNU Notification.

Similarly, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has commenced its admissions process for 44 Master's Degree Programmes and seven short-term courses for the academic Session 2022-23. This time, the university is offering 1381 seats in 44 PG Degree programmes, and 105 seats in 7 PG Diploma/Certificate Courses. The University has announced that it will admit students in these programmes through the CUET-PG.

The NTA will be conducting the Common University Entrance Test (PG) -2022 for admission to Post Graduate programmes of 42 Central Universities and other participating universities.

Another central university, Pondicherry University has also announced that it will admit students in postgraduate degree and diploma programmes through CUET 2022. Candidates seeking admission to Pondicherry University PG degree and diploma programmes for the 2022-23 academic session can apply online on the National Testing Agency websites.

The NTA has commenced the application process for the CUET-PG 2022 entrance examinations. Candidates interested in applying for the PG programmes are advised to visit the official website of NTA to register for CUET PG. The last date for students to submit the CUET PG 2022 applications is June 18, 2022. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in the third week of July 2022.
