Delhi government school Pre-board examination for Class 10 and Class 12 begins today, i.e. December 15. According to the Delhi government's Directorate of Education (DoE), the examinations will be concluded on December 28. The official guidelines released by DoE earlier stated that in order to maintain fair practices during exams, only 24 students will be allowed to be seated in one classroom. No student will be allowed to submit answer sheets before the completion of the exam, the guidelines further said.
Delhi government school pre-board exam in two shifts
The government is taking various steps to ensure fair practices during exams. Schools have been asked to ensure that there is one invigilator in each class. The pre-board exams will be of 3-hour duration. Pre-board exams for morning and general shifts will be held between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. However, pre-board exams for the evening shifts will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Schools will have to collect question papers from zonal distribution centres. DoE has also asked district deputy education officers to take action against schools that arrive late to pick up sealed question papers. Strict actions will also be taken against schools demanding early opening of the papers. Unused question papers will be distributed in the schools after completion of the exams for the students to practise, the official guidelines further added.
