Delhi, Punjab CM collaborate to enable better health, education infrastructure and facilities

The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place between Delhi CM and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

The government of Delhi and Punjab has signed a knowledge-sharing agreement to enable better health, education infrastructure and facilities. The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, has made the announcement regarding the collaboration. The governments of the two states announced their decision while conducting a live press conference today, i.e. April 26, 2022. The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place between Delhi CM and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

"The Knowledge-Sharing Agreement is a unique incident in the history of India; governments are signing an agreement to share knowledge... our goal is to learn from each other and move forward; it's a big development," Kejriwal said during the conference.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the Delhi government school along with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on April 25, 2022.

Bhagwant Mann through his official Twitter handle informed, “Visited the School of Excellence with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal ji. The education revolution of Delhi is discussed all over the country. We will also make the government schools of Punjab such a model where children of rich and poor will be able to study on one bench. Similarly, the country will move forward by learning from each other.”

Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Cabinet Minister Government Of Punjab tweeted, “Every child has the right to a quality education. Punjab will also be a part of the education revolution that has emerged from Delhi. We are committed to change the face of government schools in Punjab so that our children too can make a name for themselves in government schools.”
