There is no provision to challenge the CEED 2023 result. However, if the candidates have any issues with their results, they may get in touch with CEED 2023 exam officials for assistance.

The final score of CEED 2023 is calculated by following the weightage criteria given below.

The shortlisting for CEED 2023 is done based on the following formula:

Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. The cut-off marks (δ) for Part-A for shortlisting candidates in the GEN category will be μ (σ⁄2) = δ, where μ is the average mark, and σ is the standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2023. The μ and σ will be rounded-off to two decimal places. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfill a relaxed cut-off mark, which will be 0.9δ for OBC-NCL/EWS and 0.5δ for SC/ST/PwD.

The result-sharing institutes will allot some seats in their UG programs based on CEED 2023 scores:

All candidates who are shortlisted based on their Part A scores will have their Part B answer booklets evaluated and will be assigned a merit rank. It is mandatory for candidates to have a merit rank to participate in the counseling process conducted by the participating institutes.

So, if you don’t have a merit rank, you can’t participate in CEED counseling.

IIT Bombay will announce the results of UCEED 2023 in online mode at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The candidate will be able to check their results through the candidate portal by using their email id and date of birth.

Scorecards for UCEED 2023 will be available for download from March 11 (onward).

IIT Bombay will release category-wise merit lists for CEED 2023. This means, there will be separate merit lists for General, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories.

Note that candidates belonging to reserved categories will also be considered for admission under the open or general category.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) hasn’t specified any specific date for the release of NIFT 2023 results. The event schedule simply says that the results for the design exam will be announced in March 2023.

So, the NIFT 2023 results can be out anytime.

The Joint Admission Process will have three rounds of seat allotment.

The 1st round of allotment will be announced on April 10, followed by 2nd and 3rd rounds of allotments on May 10 and June 10.

The allotment of seats will be based on the UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and college options picked at the time of counseling and seat allotment.

IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Admission Process for the B.Des program through UCEED 2023. Candidates who are allocated a merit rank will have to fill in the application form for admission between March 14-27.

UCEED 2023 counseling will have three rounds of seat allotment.

To be considered for admission to the M.Des program, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria.

The CEED 2023 exam was conducted in the following cities:

The National Institute of Design (NID) will release the DAT Mains admit card for the B.Des program on April 14, 2023. The admit cards will be released for all candidates who have qualified in DAT Prelims.

The CEED 2023 exam was conducted as per the following pattern.

To prepare the admission cut-off of CEED 2023, the participating institute will consider the following points:

• The total number of applicants
• The CEED 2023 merit ranks of applicants
• Seat intake for the M.Des program
• Category under which admission is sought
• The popularity (or demand) of the participating institute.

IIT Bombay released the Part A (CEED 2023) cut-off on February 9, 2023. It is the minimum mark that candidates need to secure in their respective categories to get shortlisted. Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for shortlisted candidates.

On the other hand, CEED 2023 admission cut-off would be released by participating institutes and is the minimum CEED 2023 mark one needs to secure for admission in one’s category.

IIT Bombay released the Part A cut-off as mean and standard variations on February 9, 2023. The mean deviation for Part-A (CEED 2023) is 22.59, while the standard deviation is 11.82.

The CEED 2023 question paper has two parts - Part A and Part B.

Part A was administered in a computer-based mode, while Part B was administered offline. The Part B answer booklets were evaluated only for candidates who have qualified Part A.

So, it is mandatory to qualify both Part A and Part B.

Candidates applying for CEED will have to pay a registration fee at the time of filling out the online application form. The category-wise fees are given below.

• INR 1800 for all women candidates 
• INR 1800 for (SC/ST/PwD) candidates 
• INR 3600 for all other candidates

Admission to the M.Des program offered by participating institutes will be based on the CEED 2023 merit rank.

Candidates who have been assigned CEED 2023 merit rank need to apply at the admission portal of the participating institute; the admission forms for M.Des is expected to commence soon.

The Part B of the CEED question paper as per the new syllabus will include the following topics:

The CEED 2023 exam was conducted on January 22, 2023. Check the key dates for CEED 2023 below.

There are currently eight participating institutes of CEED 2023. The newest member to join CEED 2023 participating institutes is IIT Jodhpur.

IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for candidates who have qualified in the CEED 2023 exam and have been allotted a merit rank.

Instead, eligible candidates need to apply directly to the participating institute based on the CEED 2023 scores. The participating institutes will open application windows shortly.

The DAT Mains 2023 exam will be conducted program-wise from March 20-April 23, 2023.

Candidates who have qualified in the DAT Mains exam are eligible to appear in the DAT Mains exam, which comprises a Studio Test and an Interview.

It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both DAT Mains and DAT Prelims to be included in the admission merit list.

The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the DAT Mains admit cards for the M.Des program on March 7; the admit card was originally scheduled for release on March 9, 2023.

The participating institutes of CEED 2023 will offer admission to their B.Des program based on CEED 2023 scores.

The results of the UCEED 2023 exam will be declared on March 9, 2023. The results would be declared for all candidates who have appeared in the undergraduate design entrance exam.

Scorecard will be available for download starting March 11, 2023.

Scores of the CEED 2023 exam will be considered for admission only to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des need to appear in the UCEED entrance exam, which is also conducted by IIT Bombay.

IIT Bombay conducts the CEED 2023 entrance exam for admission to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses offered by participating institutes.

The CEED 2023 entrance exam was conducted on January 22, 2023.

The result of CEED 2023 is prepared by giving 5% weightage to Part A, and 75% weightage to Part B. 

In case of candidates who have failed to meet the Part A cut-off, their scorecards will only include Part A marks.

The application process for CEED 2023 was open from September 30 till November 9, 2023 (November 16, with late fees).

So, CEED aspirants have to apply for the next edition of the exam. Applications for the next session will commence tentatively in September 2023.

The answer booklets for Part A will be preserved for a period of three months after the declaration of CEED 2023 results.

So, the candidate may download the answer key within this period by logging into the portal using their candidate credentials.

The scorecard for CEED 2023 is strictly for admission purposes only. Also, the scorecard will be valid only for a period of one year.

It cannot be used as proof of date of birth, age, category, or disability status.

Part B will be evaluated subjectively. IIT Bombay will not release any model solutions for Part B. The set of criteria that are used to evaluate Part A is mentioned in the question paper. The evaluated answer booklet will also not be shared with the candidate.

The scorecard of CEED 2023 will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. In this period, the candidate can use the scorecard for admission to M.Des design courses offered by participating and result-sharing institutes.

The category-wise minimum qualifying marks for CEED 2023 can be viewed at the time of checking one’s results.

The Part A qualifying mark for the general category is 28 marks.

The candidate can view the following details in their CEED 2023 results:

• Candidate Name
• Roll number
• Signature
• Part A score

Note that the Part B score, merit rank, and CEED 2023 score will be released only if the candidate has qualified Part A.
