CEED 2023 Results Declared: Live Updates, Download Scorecard, Rank List @ceed.iitb.ac.in

The result for CEED 2023 has been announced online at ceed.iitb.ac.in/2023. To check the results, the candidate needs to log in to the candidate portal using their email id and password. Scorecards for the exam will be available for download from March 11 (onward). Candidates who are issued merit ranks in CEED 2023 will only be considered for admission.

IIT Bombay has declared the results for the CEED 2023 exam on March 7. CEED 2023 results have been declared in online mode at the IIT Bombay - CEED 2023 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in/2023. To check their results, the candidate needs to log-in to the result portal using their email and password. Hard copies of the result would not be sent to the candidate. 

The result would include details like Part A score, category-wise qualifying marks, and candidate details like name, roll number, and signature. However, CEED 2023 score, merit rank, and Part B mark will only be issued to shortlisted candidates.

The scorecards of CEED 2023 will be available for download from March 11, 2023 (onward). The validity of the scorecard will one year from the date of issue.

IIT Bombay conducted the CEED 2023 entrance exam on January 22, 2023. 

The final answer key was released on January 30, while the draft key was released on January 24, 2023. 

How to check CEED 2023 results

To check the results of CEED 2023, follow the steps given below:

  • Go to the CEED 2023 result portal - Click Here
  • A result log-in window will open
  • Enter your registered email and password
  • On successful login, the results would appear on the screen.

    CEED 2023 Shortlisting Formula

    The shortlisting for CEED 2023 is done based on the following formula:

    Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. The cut-off marks (δ) for Part-A for shortlisting candidates in the GEN category will be μ (σ⁄2) = δ, where μ is the average mark, and σ is the standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2023. The μ and σ will be rounded-off to two decimal places. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfill a relaxed cut-off mark, which will be 0.9δ for OBC-NCL/EWS and 0.5δ for SC/ST/PwD.

    Can I participate in CEED 2023 counseling if I don’t have a merit rank?

    All candidates who are shortlisted based on their Part A scores will have their Part B answer booklets evaluated and will be assigned a merit rank. It is mandatory for candidates to have a merit rank to participate in the counseling process conducted by the participating institutes.

    So, if you don’t have a merit rank, you can’t participate in CEED counseling.

    Where can I check UCEED 2023 results?

    IIT Bombay will announce the results of UCEED 2023 in online mode at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The candidate will be able to check their results through the candidate portal by using their email id and date of birth.

    Scorecards for UCEED 2023 will be available for download from March 11 (onward).

    Will IIT Bombay release separate merit list for SC category

    IIT Bombay will release category-wise merit lists for CEED 2023. This means, there will be separate merit lists for General, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories.

    Note that candidates belonging to reserved categories will also be considered for admission under the open or general category.

    When will NIFT 2023 exam results be announced?

    The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) hasn’t specified any specific date for the release of NIFT 2023 results. The event schedule simply says that the results for the design exam will be announced in March 2023.

    So, the NIFT 2023 results can be out anytime.

    UCEED 2023 seat allotment

    The Joint Admission Process will have three rounds of seat allotment.

    The 1st round of allotment will be announced on April 10, followed by 2nd and 3rd rounds of allotments on May 10 and June 10.

    The allotment of seats will be based on the UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and college options picked at the time of counseling and seat allotment.

    B.Des counseling - Joint Admission Process 

    IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Admission Process for the B.Des program through UCEED 2023. Candidates who are allocated a merit rank will have to fill in the application form for admission between March 14-27.

    CEED 2023 Eligibility Criteria

    To be considered for admission to the M.Des program, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria.

    CEED 2023 - Admission Cut-off vs. Part A Cut-off

    IIT Bombay released the Part A (CEED 2023) cut-off on February 9, 2023. It is the minimum mark that candidates need to secure in their respective categories to get shortlisted. Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for shortlisted candidates.

    On the other hand, CEED 2023 admission cut-off would be released by participating institutes and is the minimum CEED 2023 mark one needs to secure for admission in one’s category.

    IIT Bombay released the Part A cut-off as mean and standard variations on February 9, 2023. The mean deviation for Part-A (CEED 2023) is 22.59, while the standard deviation is 11.82.

    The CEED 2023 question paper has two parts - Part A and Part B.

    Will IIT Bombay conduct Joint Admission Process?

    IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for candidates who have qualified in the CEED 2023 exam and have been allotted a merit rank.

    Instead, eligible candidates need to apply directly to the participating institute based on the CEED 2023 scores. The participating institutes will open application windows shortly.

    The DAT Mains 2023 exam will be conducted program-wise from March 20-April 23, 2023.

    Candidates who have qualified in the DAT Mains exam are eligible to appear in the DAT Mains exam, which comprises a Studio Test and an Interview.

    It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both DAT Mains and DAT Prelims to be included in the admission merit list.

    The answer booklets for Part A will be preserved for a period of three months after the declaration of CEED 2023 results.

    How is Part B answer booklet evaluated?

    Part B will be evaluated subjectively. IIT Bombay will not release any model solutions for Part B. The set of criteria that are used to evaluate Part A is mentioned in the question paper. The evaluated answer booklet will also not be shared with the candidate.

    The scorecard of CEED 2023 will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. In this period, the candidate can use the scorecard for admission to M.Des design courses offered by participating and result-sharing institutes.

    Yes, IIT Bombay will announce the results of CEED 2023 for all candidates who appeared in the CEED 2023 exam. The candidate will be able to check their results online at the CEED 2023 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in/2023.

    When will the CEED 2023 result be declared?

    IIT Bombay will announce the results of CEED 2023 entrance exam on March 7, 2023. The result would be announced in online mode; hard copies of the result will not be sent to the candidate.
