National Institute of Design (NID) has opened the window for document uploading and payment of non-refundable token fee for BDes candidates. All candidates who have been allotted a seat at colleges accepting NID scores 2021 can make the payment of Rs 30,000 and upload the prescribed documents on the official website of the institute. By making the payment and uploading the documents, candidates will confirm their seat at the allotted NID.
NID Admission - How to upload documents & pay token fee?
Candidates can upload the prescribed documents and pay the token fee as part of the NID seat allotment process by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the admission portal of NID - https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2021/Default.aspx
- Click on the given link
- Enter email ID and date of birth
- Click on Submit
- Click on the given button/link for uploading the documents
- Click on the given button/link for paying the fee
NID Counselling 2021 – Which documents to upload?
The list of documents that candidates need to upload to confirm their seat include:
- A valid photo ID
- Date of birth certificate OR school leaving certificate
- Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL/ ST/ ST Certificate (if applicable)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Passport (if applied under Supernumerary category)
- Class 10 Marksheet
- Class 12 Marksheet
What Next?
All candidates who confirm their seats will then have to undergo the document verification process. Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the document verification can be conducted in online or offline mode.
All candidates whose documents will be successfully checked will then be issued provisional offer letters. Thereafter, the candidates have to pay the remaining NID admission fee to the allotted institute.
