NID DAT 2023 application form to open soon at admissions.nid.edu; step-wise process, eligibility

Applications will be for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses offered by participating colleges. NID DAT 2023 (Prelims) will be held around the 1st week of Jan.

The National Institute of Design (NID) is expected to start the online registration process for NID DAT 2023 anytime now; last year applications for the exam commenced on October 5, 2022. Applications will open in online mode and can be filled by eligible candidates before the last date. In case of candidates miss the deadline, a late fee will be imposed.

Aspirants seeking admission to BDes and MDes programmes at NID campuses can register for NID DAT 2023. 

How to fill the NID DAT 2023 application form

To register for the NID DAT 2023 exam, follow these steps.

1. Go to the admission portal of NID DAT 2023 - admissions.nid.edu
2. Click on the Registration Tab. A registration form will open
3. Fill the registration form
4. On successful registration, a log-in account will be created
5. Log-in to the account
6. Fill in the NID DAT application form 2023
7. Upload documents
8. Pay the application fee in online mode using net banking, credit, or debit cards.

NID DAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des program need to have passed the 10+2 exam in any discipline. In the case of the M.Des program, the candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of four years duration.

Age limit: The candidate must be born on or after July 1, 2023. Relaxation in upper age limit applies to reserved category candidates.

The NID DAT 2023 Prelims exam will be conducted tentatively in the 1st week of January.
