NID DAT 2023 B.Des Studio Test - Option to select test center closes

Candidates who have qualified B.Des DAT Prelims were required to select a test center for appearing in the Studio Test, which will be conducted on April 30. Details of the allotted test center will be mentioned on the admit card.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the Studio Test for the B.Des program on April 30, 2023. The Studio Test or DAT Mains will be conducted in offline mode at various NID campuses. The window to select test cities closes today at 4 pm, April 5, 2023. Any candidate who has failed or doesn’t select any test city will be allocated a test center automatically based on the number of seats available at the respective center. 

The allotment of DAT Mains test centers was done on a first-come, first-served basis.

NID DAT 2023 admit card

The National Institute of Design will release the admit card for the B.Des Studio Test on April 14, 2023. Admit cards will be issued for all candidates shortlisted for DAT Mains.

To download the admit card, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using their email id and date of birth. 

DAT Mains admit cards for the M.Des program were released on March 7. The Studio Test and Interview for the M.Des program is currently being conducted from March 20 (onward).
