NID DAT 2023 entrance exam - Last minute preparation tips

DAT Prelims exam will be held on Jan 8, 2023. Candidates who qualify in the exam have to next appear in DAT Mains. Get useful tips to ace the exam.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the NID DAT Prelims 2023 exam on January 8, 2023. The exam will be administered as a paper-and-pencil/pen test. Admit cards for the exam were released on January 2, 2023. With so little time left to go before the exam, candidates need to ensure that these last few hours are well utilized. 

Here we share some tips candidates can use to get a good score in NID DAT 2023. 

Last-minute tips to prepare for NID DAT 2023

1. Refer to the DAT Prelims syllabus and exam pattern - It goes without saying that you need to follow the official syllabus and exam pattern. 
2. Revision - At this stage of exam preparation, you must concentrate on doing quick revisions. If you are maintaining notes, use them for quick turnaround time rather than going through textbooks, which will have large blocks of text and hence could be cumbersome at this stage.
3. Sample papers - You don’t have to solve a dozen sample papers at this stage. Rather solving two or maybe three sample papers may suffice. 
4. Mock tests - To get an exam-like ambiance and get into the exam mood, you must attempt a couple of mock tests. This exercise will help you iron out the small but irksome errors.
5. Stay hydrated - Drink sufficient water to keep your body properly hydrated. Better drink lukewarm water rather than drinking frigid cold water and getting a sore throat!
6. Take proper rest - Going ballistic about one preparation is also not good, because it might create havoc with your body and mind. Instead, in this last leg of exam preparation, you must pay close attention to your health. Sleep the full quota of hours, take proper rest in between exam preparation, and do some light exercise.
