NID DAT 2023 FINAL Result (OUT): Re-check Window OPEN, Download Scorecard @admissions.nid.edu

The M.Des DAT Mains 2023 Re-check window will close at 6 pm Today (May 19); the recheck window opened on May 18 (6 pm). Candidates who have any objections against the final results for the M.Des program can apply for a recheck.

Note that the final results of NID DAT 2023 for the M.Des was announced on May 18, 2023.

The National Institute of Design will declare the NID DAT 2023 FINAL results for the B.Des program on May 1i9 (4 pm). The result would be released online at the NID admission portal for all candidates who have appeared in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The DAT Prelims were held in the following 23 cities across India.

To determine the cut-off for NID DAT 2023, the admission committee will consider the following factors:

• The total number of applicants taking the NID DAT 2023 exam
• The merit rank of the candidate in NID DAT 2023
• Seat intake for the M.Des program
• The preferences opted for by the candidate
• The category under which admission is sought.

To be considered for admission to the M.Des program, the candidate needs to meet the below-mentioned criteria.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will soon release the category-wise cut-off for the M.Des program for admission to the participating colleges. The cut-off indicates the minimum score or rank the candidate needs to secure in his or her category to be considered for admission to the M.Des program.

In case of candidates who fail to either confirm the seat or make the payment of the Tuition Fees for Semester-I, the provisional allocation of seats will be canceled. The seat in this case will be allotted to the next qualifying candidate in the order of merit and availability of seats in their respective category. In case of such cancellations, the Tuition Fees paid by the candidate will be refunded after deducting the NON-REFUNDABLE Token fees.

The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the DAT Mains results for the M.Des program at around 4.36 pm, today. The results have been announced online at the NID admission portal - Click Here

To check their results, the candidate needs to log in using their email id and date of birth.

Candidates who have confirmed their seats by paying the 1st-semester tuition fee and have successfully verified their documents will be issued the Provisional Offer of Admission.

Such candidates need to pay all other charges/ fees (as mentioned on the Fee Structure available on the NID admission portal) after the receipt of the letter.

The results of NID DAT 2023 Mains were scheduled to be out at 4 pm. But we are well past the deadline and the results are not out yet. This has created a bit of frenzy among candidates who are jostling to find the result link on the NID admission portal!

So, the wait for NID DAT 2023 FINAL result continues.

The result for NID DAT Mains 2023 for the M.Des program will be released online at admissions.nid.edu. Hard copies of the result will not be sent to the candidate. To check their results, the candidate needs to go to the NID admission portal, click on the result link, and log in using their candidate credentials.

The official admission portal of NID doesn't have any information on NID DAT 2023 FINAL results yet.

As per the schedule given by the National Institute of Design (NID), the result for the NID DAT 2023 exam is scheduled to be declared at 4 pm today. The result would be announced online at the NID official portal - admissions.nid.edu.

The second round of seat allotment will be issued only if there are vacant seats left after the 1st round of admission.

The allotment of seats will be communicated to the next eligible candidate in the order of merit.

The documents uploaded by the candidate will be verified by the admission committee. At the time of verification, if the documents are found to be incorrect/invalid, the candidature of such candidates will stand canceled.

The registration process for NIFT 2023 is now CLOSED. The choice filling-cum-registration for NIFT 2023 was conducted from April 28 to May 8, 2023. As part of the registration process, candidates needed to enter their academic preferences.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will soon announce the seat allotment for Round I anytime now. Note that no official seat allotment schedule has been announced yet.

The candidate needs to upload the following documents by May 31, 2023.

The candidate has to pay the following tuition fees to confirm their seats:

• INR 2,13,500/- (which includes a non-refundable Token Fee of INR 30,000/) + Convenience Charges (as applicable) for GEN, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD candidates;
• USD 2,910 (which includes a non-refundable Token Fee of INR 75,000/) + Convenience Charges (as applicable) for Overseas candidates from SAARC & African   Countries, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam;

USD 6,410 (which includes a non-refundable Token Fee of INR 75,000/) + Convenience Charges (as applicable) for Overseas candidates from the Rest of the World.

No, obtaining a rank in the NID DAT 2023 exam is no guarantee that the candidate will be allocated a seat in the discipline selected by the candidate at the time of filling out the online application form for NID DAT 2023.

In case the candidate has applied for TWO disciplines and is eligible for both, but gets shortlisted for only the discipline marked as preference 02, then the candidate will be allocated a seat in the discipline marked as preference 02. 

However, if there is a vacancy in the discipline marked as Preference 01, then by default, the candidate will be upgraded to the discipline marked as Preference 01. 

Also, the previous allotment will get canceled (preference 02), and will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.

In case the candidate has applied for TWO disciplines, but is shortlisted only for the discipline marked as preference 02, the candidate will be allotted a seat in the discipline marked as preference 02.

If the candidate has applied in two disciplines and gets shortlisted in both disciplines, in that case, the candidate will be allotted a seat in the discipline marked as FIRST preference.

Also, the discipline marked as 2nd preference will be allocated to the candidate next in order of merit.

The seat allotment of NID DAT 2023 will be done considering:

• Merit rank of the candidate in the NID DAT 2023 exam 
• Availability of seats.
• Preference of discipline

All shortlisted candidates need to pay the tuition fee for the first semester and upload the required documents latest by May 31.

The allotment of seats for NID DAT 2023 will be declared alongside the final results. The candidate needs to log in to the admission portal to check their seat allotment status. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat-confirmation fee by May 31 (12 pm, midnight).

No, the DAT Mains results for the B.Des program will not be declared TODAY as scheduled earlier. Instead, the results for the exam will be announced on May 19, 2023 (4 pm).

Note that the final results will be prepared by giving 40% weightage to DAT Prelims and 60% weightage to DAT Mains.

The DAT Mains results for the M.Des program will be declared online at the NID admission portal. Hard copies of the result will not be sent to candidates.

The application form for NID DAT 2023 is now closed. The last date to fill out the form with regular fee was December 22, while with late fees, applications were accepted up to December 25, 2023.

Yes, it is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains to be included in the final merit list. In case of candidates who haven’t appeared in the DAT Mains, he or she will be disqualified from the admission process.

The DAT Mains exam for the M.Des program was conducted program-wise from March 20 to April 20. Candidates were shortlisted for the Studio Test based on their performance in the DAT Prelims.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will declare the final results for the M.Des today at 4 pm. The results wou;d be declared online at admissions.nid.edu. The results can be checked by entering one's candidate log-in details.

The NID DAT 2023 Mains exam for the B.Des program was conducted on April 30, 2023. The DAT Mains exam was conducted offline at NID Ahmedabad, NID Bengaluru, NID Bhopal, NID Kolkata, NID Gandhinagar, and NID Kurukshetra campuses.

 Given the highly subjective nature of the assessment of the paper/interview or the procedure followed in the interview, the evaluation criteria/break-up of marks followed for the assessment of paper/interview or the procedure will not be shared with the candidate keeping in mind the larger public interest.

The result of the candidate will be available for one year after the announcement of the final result. After the given period, no details pertaining to NID DAT 2023 results will be shared with the candidate.

The National Institute of Design will neither release the answer keys nor the question booklet for the DAT exams even upon request. The items are not released due to their sensitive nature. 

The National Institute of Design will release the answer sheets for the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains once the admission process is complete. Also, the answer sheets will be available for a period of one year after the declaration of NID DAT 2023 FINAL results.

The National Institute of Design hasn't specified any dates for the re-check of M.Des DAT Mains 2023 results in its latest notification. So, at this moment it is not clear wether the candidate will be allowed to challenge the final results.

Admission to the M.Des program at NID is conducted in two stages. The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims. If shortlisted, the candidate next has to appear in DAT Mains.
