Candidates who have any grievances against the M.Des DAT Prelims results can submit recheck requests up to 4 pm, March 2, 2023. 

The National Institute of Design (NID) will close the re-recheck window on March 2, 2023 (4 pm). Candidates who have any complaints against the M.Des DAT Prelims results will have to submit their recheck requests before the deadline. To file a recheck request, the candidate will have to make a payment of INR 2000. The National Institute of Design declared the DAT Prelims results for the M.Des program on February 28, 2023.

NID DAT 2023 Recheck Process

The rechecking process is restricted to:

  • Whether all the answers have been marked.
  • Whether there has been any mistake in the totaling of marks for each question in Part II of the answer booklet and transferring the marks correctly onto the first cover page of the answer booklet.

The rechecking process will not involve a re-evaluation of any other aspect of the answer booklet. 

To submit their requests, the candidate will have to pay a fee of INR 2,000.

Shortlisting of candidates for DAT Mains

The result of the DAT Prelims will be used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains, which will comprise a Studio Test and Interview. Candidates who get shortlisted only can appear in DAT Mains.

Also, the final results of NID DAT 2023 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The DAT Prelims for B.Des will be announced on March 30, 2023.
