NID DAT 2023 Prelims results for M.Des to be announced on February 28

Candidates who qualify in DAT Prelims can appear in DAT Mains. DAT Prelims results for B.Des program will be announced on March 30, 2023.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will announce the DAT Prelims results for M.Des program on February 8, 2023. The results would be announced at the admission portal of NID - admissions.nid.edu. To check their results, the candidate will have to log-in to the result portal using their email id and date of birth. The DAT Prelims results will be released for all candidates who have appeared in the exam.

The National Institute of Design will announce DAT Prelims results for the B.Des program on March 30, 2023. The DAT Prelims exam (for both B.Des and M.Des courses) was conducted on January 8, 2023.

The results of DAT Prelims will be used to shortlist candidates for the next admission round, which is DAT Mains. Note that to be considered for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses at the NIDs, the candidate needs to appear in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

How to check NID DAT 2023 Results (Prelims)

The results of the DAT Prelims will be announced online on the admission portal of the National Institute of Design. The steps to check exam results are given below.

• Go to the NID admission portal
• Click on the result link (will be activated once the results are out)
• In the log-in window that opens, enter your email id and date of birth
• The DAT Prelims results would be displayed on the screen
• Download the result. 

Preparation of merit list and shortlisting of candidates for DAT Mains

The results of the DAT Prelims will be used to prepare a merit list and shortlist candidates for DAT Mains. The merit list will be prepared by considering the marks obtained by candidates in the DAT Prelims.

Candidates who are included in the merit list will be eligible to appear in DAT Mains.
