NID DAT Counselling 2023: Round 1 seat allotment for BDes out on May 25

Candidates will be offered admission to the National Institute of Design through NID DAT counselling 2023 on the basis of merit list, candidate category and seat availability.  

The National Institute of Design (NID) will announce Round I seat allotment for the BDes program on May 25, 2023. The seat allotment will be based on factors such as the merit rank of the candidate in NID 2023, availability of seats, campus opted, and category. Round 1 seat allotment for BDes, seat confirmation, document uploading, and fee payment will take place from May 25 to 31, 2023.   

Candidates must note that the window of submission of campus preferences was open from May 19 to 22, 2023. After the allotment of seats, candidates will have to pay the seat confirmation fee and upload documents. The seat acceptance fee for the BDes program is INR 30,000 for Indians, and INR 75,000 for overseas candidates. The fee has to be paid online. 

It is to be noted that the candidates who have not submitted any campus preferences till the last date will be disqualified and will not be considered for admission to the BDes program. Further, the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit in the respective category.  The final results for the BDes program was declared on May 19, 2023, and candidates could submit campus preferences between May 19 (4 pm) and May 22 (12 pm) 2023.
