The Studio Test for the B.Des program will be conducted in offline mode in seven cities. The allotment of test centres will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
The National Institute of Design is allowing candidates to submit their test centre preferences for the NID DAT Mains 2022 Studio Test from May 25 - May 27 (4 pm). Candidates who havenβt yet booked their slots need to book their centres now, given test centres are being allocated on a first-come, first served basis. So if a centre fill up, it will not be available for the next candidate.
NID has released detailed guidelines to be followed when submitting test center preferences.
The Studio Test for the NID DAT 2022 Mains (B.Des) will be held on June 18 (9 am - 1 pm). Meanwhile, the Studio Test for the M.Des program will be conducted program-wise from June 6-24.
Candidates who have qualfied NID DAT 2022 Prelims are eligible to participate in the Studio Test.

The Studio Test will be conducted in the following cities;
- Ahmedabad
- Bengaluru
- Bhopal
- Delhi
- Hyderabad
- Kolkata
- Pune
Test centres selection for the B.Des Mains Studio Test
The candidate will have to submit their test centre options in online mode through the online admission portal of NID - admissions.nid.edu.
- Click on the test centre submission link
- A log-in window will open
- Enter your email id and date of birth
- On log-in, you can select test centres.
The details of the DAT Mains 2022 studio test centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the NID DAT Mains 2022 admit card (B.Des). Admit cards for B.Des Studio Test will be released in the 1st week of June.
