NIFT 2024 application form expected to open anytime now; check key updates

The application form for NIFT is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. Eligible candidates have to apply online niftadmissions.in. The written exams will be held sometime in February 2024.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the application form anytime soon. The application form will be released online at niftadmissions.in. Candidates who meet the prescribed NIFT eligibility criteria for their chosen program will have to duly fill in the form and submit it before the last date. The NIFT application fee for the open category is INR 3000. 

The written exams for NIFT 2024 will be conducted tentatively in the 1st week of February. The written exams will comprise the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT).

Note that only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT.

The scores of the written exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

How to apply for NIFT 2024

The step-wise process for filling out the NIFT application form is given below:

1. Go to the NIFT admission portal 
2. If the application form is OPEN, the "Registration" link will be activated.
3. In the registration form, you will have to fill in your name, email ID, phone number, and other relevant details.
4. Log in to the account to fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
5. Upload documents
6. Pay the application fee to complete the process.
