The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is set to release the NIFT 2024 seat allotment for undergraduate and postgraduate courses tomorrow, June 15. Candidates who receive seat allotments must complete the seat-acceptance process by June 18 (11.59 pm).
Seat Allotment Criteria

NIFT Counseling Process 2024
NIFT counseling is conducted online as a centralized seat-allotment process. Candidates are shortlisted based on their NIFT 2024 merit rank. To confirm admission, candidates must pay the NIFT 2024 counseling registration fee of INR 9,300, along with a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,83,200. Failure to complete registration or meet fee requirements may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
NIFT Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for participation in the NIFT 2024 seat allocation process varies based on the program:
- UG Programs: Candidates must have qualified the NIFT Entrance Exam 2024, including the Situation Test and Personal Interview. Subjects required for BDes and BFTech programs are specified.
- Artisan/Children of Artisan Category: Candidates must have qualified the NIFT Entrance Exam 2024.
- NLEA 2024 Entrance Exam: Specific educational qualifications apply.
- MDes and MFM Programs: Candidates must have qualified in the NIFT Entrance Exam 2024 or have a valid GMAT score.
- MFTech Program: Candidates must meet specific criteria and have a valid GMAT score.
