NIFT 2024 Admission Process

Admission to the NIFT 2024 participating colleges will be done in a two-stage admission process.

  1. The candidate 1st appears in the written exams - GAT and CAT. Note that only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT. Other candidates only need to take the GAT.
  2. Shortlisted candidates next have to appear in a Situation Test (B.Des candidates) or Personal Interview (those seeking admission to master’s courses).

The final NIFT 2024 merit list will be prepared by giving weightage to the written exam and Situation Test/ Personal Interview.
