NIFT seat allotment is based on the merit rank of the candidate in the NIFT 2024 entrance exam, the category, and also the choices opted by the candidate. According to the official schedule, the last date to pay the seat-acceptance fee till June 26 (11.59 pm).
NIFT seat allotment is based on the merit rank of the candidate in the NIFT 2024 entrance exam, the category, and also the choices opted by the candidate. Candidates who have been allotted seats can download the provisional allotment letter from the admission portal using their login credentials. If the candidate fails to pay the fee within the given deadline, his/her seat will stand cancelled and will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.
NIFT counselling is conducted online as a centralised seat-allotment process. Candidates are shortlisted for NIFT 2024 counselling based on their NIFT 2024 merit rank. Candidates are required to remit the NIFT 2024 counselling registration fee of INR 9,300, along with a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,83,200 to confirm their admission. Failure to complete the registration process or meet the fee requirements may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.

- Options selected at the time of counseling registration (combination of Campus + academic program or course)
- Seat intake for the applied program
- Whether the candidate belongs to the PwD category
- Any other seat allotment rules that may be applicable.
