The SOFT CET exam will include an online test, Studio Test/ Group Discussion, and a Personal Interview. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in all the three tests.
The MKSSS’s School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) will conduct the SOFT CET 2023 entrance exam for the B.Des program from May 24-26, 2023. The entrance exam will include a General Ability Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview. All the tests will be conducted on the same day. The mode of SOFT CET 2023 exam will be online.
The SOFT CET 2023 application form is currently open from March 20 - April 30, 2023. With late fees, applications will be accepted from May 1-15, 2023.
The candidate will be able to select the exam date at the time of filling out the SOFT CET application form.
SOFT CET 2023 exam pattern
The SOFT CET 2023 will be conducted online. The exam will have three tests.

Time: 10 am - 10.45 am Mode - Online. The test link will be mailed to the candidate 15 minutes prior to the test. To start the test, the candidate will have to mention the unique number and name. |
| Studio Test |
Time: 11 am - 12.15 pm Mode: Online. Google meet link will be sent to the candidate 1 day prior to the exam The student can take the Studio Test after completion of GAT. |
| Personal Interview (Portfolio Statement of Purpose) |
Time: 1pm - 4 pm Mode: Online. Google meet link 2 will be sent to the candidate 15 minutes prior to groups. The student must keep ready a digital portfolio (not more than 4-5 pages) ready. |
Declaration of SOFT CET 2023 Merit Lists
The School of Fashion Technology will release merit lists for SOFT CET 2023 on May 31, 2023. The merit lists will be prepared by considering marks obtained by candidates in the design entrance exam.
