AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G Sitharam introduced the 'AICTE-QIP-PG Certificate Programme in Emerging Areas' to advance the academic capabilities of faculty members in core engineering disciplines. This program is a component of the AICTE Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) scheme.

This program is designed to equip faculty members from core engineering disciplines, such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Chemical, etc., with training in emerging technologies. This training will enhance their ability to deliver effective instruction to students enrolled in courses focused on these new areas.

Don't know on what basis AICTE has shortlisted faculty from the candidates who applied. From our college some of us didn't get shortlisted whereas some got shortlisted for two institutions also. Pathetic.
