At 95.8%, JEE Main January session witnesses all-time high attendance

Of the total registration of 9,06,523 candidates, women comprise 30.7 per cent. Among female candidates, 11.4 per cent are from EWS category, 37 per cent from SC, 9.1 per cent from ST and 3.4 per cent from OBC categories. 

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 registered an all-time high attendance of 95.8 per cent in the January session, officials said. 

The JEE Main 2023 January session got over on February 1, and the next session will be conducted in April. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam on January 24, 24, 28, 29, 30 31 and February 1 in 290 cities across the country and 25 cities outside India. The exam was held online as a computer-based test.  

The exam was conducted in 13 languages -- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. More than 8.6 lakh candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), while over 46,000 registered for Paper 2 (BArch). Of the total of 8,60,058 aspirants for Paper 1 (BE/BTech programmes), 8,23,850 took the computer-based exam. 

The test for BE and BTech programmes was conducted over six days, starting from January 24, while Paper 2 was conducted on January 28 which registered 75.8 per cent attendance.

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key released at jeemain.nta.nic.in 

 Meanwhile, the NTA has released the JEE Mains answer key 2023 for the session 1 exam today. JEE Main answer key download link is available on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to login on the website using their application number and date of birth/password for downloading the JEE answer key 2023. 

Along with the JEE Main 2023 answer key, NTA has also released the candidate response sheets and question papers. For downloading the response sheets and JEE Main 2023 question papers, candidates have to login on the website using their application number and date of birth.
