CCMT 2024: Registration, Dates, Seat Allotment & More!
The CCMT 2024 schedule is out now! CCMT 2024 registration starts from 24 May 2024. CCMT 2024 regular rounds of counselling will begin from 12 June 2024. Candidate must know the registration & counseling process. Candidates can check the details here:
SVNIT Surat has released the complete schedule for regular rounds of CCMT 2024 counseling. GATE-qualified candidates can register themselves in CCMT portal which will allow them to apply in all courses & institutes through single application.
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. [CCMT] is a common platform for GATE-qualified candidates to take admission to NITs, IIITs & other GFTIs.
Candidates must know the eligibility criteria, important dates, choice locking & other important details before filling out the CCMT 2024 Application form.

The CCMT 2024 Counselling process consists of three regular rounds, two special rounds (SR) & a national spot round (NSR). CCMT 2024 Regular rounds dates have been released, Special & National spot round dates will be released after the completion of the three regular rounds of counselling. CCMT 2024 : COUNSELLING PROCESS
CCMT counseling process consist of several stages such as registering as a new candidate, filling up choices, seat acceptance process & document verification. Candidates can check below all the steps in details:
STEP 1: Registration for CCMT 2024
Candidates must create a user account on CCMT 2024 portal using his basic details such as Name, DOB & Communication details. Upon successful registration, candidates must fill in the required details & pay the registration fees for CCMT 2024 complete registration.
STEP 2: Choice filling & Locking for CCMT 2024
Candidates must carefully fill their choices based on their preference of discipline, institute & interest. While filling the Choices candidates must keep in mind their GATE score & probable cut-off of the course.
Candidates can select their preferred choices in the correct order by searching & selecting the choice or by rearranging the choice after filling up all choices. candidates must lock their final choices within the deadline after filling up the choices. If not locked, last saved choices will be automatically locked, and the same list will be considered for further Counselling process.
STEP 3: Seat Allotment through CCMT 2024
The Seat allotment result will be declared on the CCMT official website. Candidates will be given four choices for the allotted seats namely Float, Slide, Freeze & Surrender (Participate in the next round). Candidate can check the details:
- Float: Retaining choices of previous rounds & willing to opt for better choices in further rounds.
- Slide: Retaining choices of previous rounds of the same institute & willing to opt for better choices in further rounds.
- Freeze: No change in Seat Allotment, however, willing to opt for category upgradation.
- Surrender (Participate in the next round): No claim on the surrendered seat in further rounds & willing to opt for the better opportunity.
Upon successful seat allotment, candidates must download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) from their CCMT login after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
STEP 3: Paying SAF & PAF
Candidates who have accepted the allotted seat must pay the Seat Acceptance Fees (SAF) to confirm seat allotment to the institute. Later if a candidate wants to confirm the admission on the accepted fees, he/she must pay the Partial Admission Fees (PAF). Both the fees will be adjusted against the finally allotted institute’s admission fee.
- Seat Acceptance Fees (SAF):
₹ 30,000/- for GEN/ GEN-EWS/OBC & ₹ 10,000/- for SC/ST/PwD
- Partial Admission Fees (PAF):
₹ 10,000/- for GEN/ GEN-EWS/OBC ₹ 5,000/- for SC/ST/PwD
STEP 4: Online Document Verification
Allotted Institute will verify all the details & documents uploaded by the candidates through online mode. Only after the successful document verification will the candidate be allowed to take admission & report to the institution for the physical classes.
