FAKE AKTU timetable for odd semester exams goes viral; Varsity warns students
The fake notice claims that the university has issued the branch-wise, combined date and shift-wise semester exam final schedule.
APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU) has released an official notice warning students against a fake circular regarding the revised and final timetable for offline semester exams for regular and carry-over students of 2022-23 session. The fake notice claims that the university has issued the branch-wise, combined date and shift-wise semester exam final schedule.
Asking the students to believe in authentic sources only, the university has asked students to visit the official website – aktu.ac.in for any kind of information.
Through its official Twitter handle, AKTU said, “All the students are informed that this circular is completely untrue, please ignore it. For any information from the university, visit the official website of the university. Thank you.”
The fake notice reads, “Through the said letter, a tentative examination schedule was issued for conducting offline examinations for regular and carry-over odd semesters for the session 2022-23. Regarding the above, the revised and final examination program by attaching branch-wise and combined date and shift-wise is being issued on the request of the students and institutions.”
Therefore, you are requested to inform all the students studying in the institute, the fake notice further added. The fake circular was signed by the exam controller, Anurag Tripathi.
Registration against vacant seats begins on December 1
Meanwhile, AKTU admissions 2022-23 against vacant seats left after counseling will begin from December 1. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to register for vacant seats on the official website, i.e. aktu.ac.in. Last date to register is December 15, 2022.
