G20 seminar on ‘Role of Digital Technology in Education’ begins at IIT Madras
The G20 seminar is being held as part of ‘Sherpa Track – 1st Education Working Group Meeting’ in Chennai from January 31 to February 2.
G20 seminar on ‘Role of Digital Technology in Education’ started at IIT Madras today. It is intended to identify policies for the effective use of digital technology in education in the G20 member countries.
The G20 seminar is being held at IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP) as part of ‘Sherpa Track – 1st Education Working Group Meeting’ in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, from January 31, 2023 to February 2, 2023.
IITMRP will also host an exhibition with 50 stalls which will cover topics related to research, innovation, and skill development, India Today reported.
It is intended that the seminar will discuss how digital technologies can be effectively used to expand opportunities for student learning and learning outcomes, as well as how countries can reach Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) targets of achieving inclusive and quality education for all, despite the challenges they face.
